Architectural and Cabinetry Designer
Job description

BB&R Design-Build is an Award-Winning Residential Design-Build Remodeling firm with a strong presence in Central MA. We are seeking an Architectural and Cabinetry Designer to join our amazing team! Responsibilities

• Field measuring and developing “existing conditions” plans at the onset of new projects.
• Collaborate with in-house team to develop proposed plans and layouts for intended projects.
• Lead the development of construction drawings for project implementation
• Develop and create cabinetry plans and elevations for kitchen and bathroom projects.
• Assist with project specifications and documentation for all specified materials for projects, and integration with our project management software.
• Maintaining and updating information in our project management program.
• Maintain a running progression of drawing revision sets as needed.
• Provide ongoing project support

Preferred Qualifications

· Degree in Architecture / Residential Design

· 3-5 years in residential drafting/design/CAD

· Understanding of developing construction documents and associated components (plans, elevations, cabinet, door & window schedules, etc.)

· Strong tech savviness and proficiency in MS Office Suite

· Strong preference for individual with experience with Chief Architect residential design software

· Working knowledge of residential construction and building codes.

Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour
