As well as being accountable for developing and delivering the inclusive Talent Acquisition Operations & Insights strategy for the entire enterprise you’ll be joining at a time when our entire Talent Acquisition team itself is also undergoing transformation and evolving, to help deliver on the BBC’s vision.

Main Responsibilities

• Work with senior leaders to lead and communicate the new and evolving inclusive Operations & Insights strategy and approach across the BBC, while making adjustments as required to this approach to ensure this continues to meet the wider BBC strategy.
• Develop and deliver new and emerging high impact inclusive Operations & Insights tools and initiatives.
• Provide analysis of demand, resourcing and capacity across the Talent Acquisition team while monitoring key success measures and operational performance in order to provide regular updates to the Head of Talent Acquisition and the Talent Acquisition Senior Management Team.
• Oversee the candidate and hiring manager experience proactively identifying risks and process issues and determining the best course of action to implement the appropriate improvements.
• Employing data and analytics from the People, Technology & Data Teams to develop insights, capture any requirements and ensure reporting is fit for purpose.
• Support the delivery of the D&I agenda by ensuring Operations & Insights methodologies are accessible, inclusive and unbiased.
• Upskill Talent Acquisition peers accordingly in best practice Operations & Insights methodologies and technologies.
• Work with Talent Acquisition counterparts to position the BBC as an employer of choice in the external market, enabling the BBC to attract the future skills and capabilities to deliver the BBC’s Strategic Priorities while also supporting the development and promotion of talent already in the organisation.
• Work with the People Services team in driving continuous improvement and process ownership across recruitment and on-boarding ensuring a seamless candidate and hiring manager experience from application through to on-boarding through data analysis, identifying trends and undertaking improvement action.
• Be a visible member of the Talent Acquisition Team, actively contributing to the wider Talent Acquisition and People and Organisational Development strategy and goals as appropriate.
• Build relationships and form alliances with external counterparts, communities of practice and stakeholders to scan for innovations and opportunities to form partnerships.
• Be an ambassador for the function and represent the BBC Talent Acquisition team internally and externally (as appropriate).

Are you the right candidate?

You will no doubt already have experience of doing much of this in a similar large complex corporate setting and direct experience of successfully shaping and delivering high impact Operations & Insights strategies, (at all levels), built on the back of strategic workforce planning.

You will also enjoy uncertainty as you’ll be helping us to shape and deliver evolving Operations & Insights services into an organisation that itself is going through significant cultural change. And finally, you’ll be at home with technological advancements, with knowledge of HRIS, ATS and CRM systems and unlocking the insights and value these can bring to the talent acquisition ecosystem as a whole.
