The Internal Digital Tools team produce key strategic web applications for staff across the BBC. Many of these are high profile, and involve senior stakeholders in areas like Information Security, News and Program makers.
The BBC is going through an extraordinary strategic change and Internal Digital Tools is at the heart of this. We are building the next generation of world class online tools to empower the organisations creatives.

Main Responsibilities
We’re looking for a react/JavaScript developer to join the team. Your role will be pivotal in creating responsive components for modern web development.
You’ll be creating hyper-usable web applications that melt red tape and bureaucratic processes; this is the business end of “Digital Transformation.”
We expect you to have experience writing some combination of JS, HTML, CSS, React, Lambdas, graphQL, SQL. We’re looking for familiarity with consuming and deploying APIs on AWS with some understanding of Full-Stack development. You’ll be keen on using best-practice web development frameworks and standards.
