You will develop and drive the Talent acquisition strategy for BBC Nations to deliver world-class and diverse employees with the right capability in the right jobs at the right time. You will be a trusted voice and a strategic partner helping to deliver expert advice and guidance to senior leaders and managers across a variety of recruitment topics. You will be a recognised source of truth on external trends and hiring dynamics specific to the business area(s) – these are primarily local radio, news and TV programming across the UK for one of the BBCs biggest divisions.
Main Responsibilities
The Broad Remit
The role will be responsible for influencing and shaping Talent Acquisition across BBC Nations and will be a crucial voice and subject matter expert on a variety of complex hiring topics. The role will own the relationship with senior leaders and is accountable for the approach to and delivery of Talent Acquisition for their client group. Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition and sitting on the TA leadership team, you will work with likeminded leaders and the wider TA/HR team to ensure BBC-wide opportunities are realized and value is created.
You will influence the transformation and future direction of talent acquisition at the BBC and play a critical role in ensuring the BBC has even greater impact across the UK.
