We are looking for a Finance Manager to join the Production Accounting team in Salford on a permanent contract. This is a wonderful opportunity for an individual looking to further their knowledge within a globally recognized organisation. You will work with the Head of Finance and a team of talented Finance Managers supporting BBC Studios produced content, with a primary focus on Kids and Family (formerly known as Childrens).

The Production Accounting team works within the production community to ensure that production budgets are effectively managed and to protect value by deploying and managing effective cost management, controls and risk management disciplines.

Main Responsibilities

As a Finance Manager in Production Accounting, you will provide professional financial support and advice to a range of key stakeholders within BBC Studios. You will also maintain the integrity and control of financial systems and processes, working with a team of Production Accountants and Assistant Production Accountants who you will assume managerial responsibility for, supervising their training and development. You will work with the Head of Finance to schedule your team to provide the appropriate level of support to Production Management.

Are you the right candidate?

• Extensive experience as a production accountant working on a range of productions across different genres.
• Experience of mentoring and/or coaching staff, contributing to their development.
• The ability to suggest and implement improvements that help create efficient and effective ways of working.
• The ability to establish best practice and ensure a consistent way of working and a culture of peer group support.
• Experience of partnering with your production area to deliver great results.
