Experienced Medical Appointment Scheduler

Join our appointment scheduling team! Baystate Ob/Gyn Group, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced medical appointment scheduler for our women’s health practice with community offices in the greater Springfield area.

The Medical Appointment Scheduler position involves working with patients, staff, and community practices to coordinate patient appointments including annual exams, problem focused visits, obstetrical visits, ultrasounds, new patient visits, etc. This position relies on constant phone/headset and computer use.

Minimum job requirements include:

• EXCELLENT customer service skills both in person and on the phone.
• One year of prior experience in a medical office setting in a position that involved scheduling appointments.
• Computer literacy (we rely heavily on our electronic medical record system, Microsoft Word and Outlook).
• Multitasking skills related to appointment scheduling functions.
• The desire to thrive in a dynamic and busy team environment.
• Experience in an ob/gyn practice and/or Athena EMR is a plus but not required!
