Under general supervision, the Healthcare Nurse Recruiter provides consulting expertise to assist the organization in recruiting and selecting talent. The Heathcare Nurse Recruiter will be responsible for recruiting all positions assigned. Understands the importance of recruiting and retention and has a strong customer service focus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understands the market and competitors for targeted skills.
• Post sign on bonus language and maintain postings when sign on deadlines pass.
• Create ads to be posted through ATS and other website as needed.

• Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, media, and internet sites.

• Executes recruitment strategies to attract applicants utilizing all available sourcing tools. This may include job posting optimization, job board procurement, digital and non-digital employment marketing, and promotion of employee referral programs.
• Prescreens applicant resumes prior to submission to hiring manager and/or perform preliminary interviews only when necessary.
• Partners with hiring managers to strategize how to attract more candidates to open requisitions.
• Communicates with hiring managers often to assure candidate flow.
• Act as ATS ‘Subject Matter Expert; for hiring managers.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1+ years of related professional recruitment experience in the healthcare field preferred.
• Multi-State and/or Multi-site recruiting experience is a plus.
• Prior experience working in nurse recruiting preferred.
• Strong organization, attention to details and desk management abilities..
• Must possess experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and complete responsibilities with minimal supervision
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screen.
