SUMMARY:

The Talent Acquisition Sr. Recruiter is responsible for demonstrating knowledge, skill and leadership in recruitment by planning, coordinating and implementing recruitment strategies for assigned areas of responsibility to ensure the best fit candidate for the position is sourced, assessed and converted to hire to meet the needs of the organization. This includes focusing on the priority to provide an outstanding candidate experience to ensure the company attracts, hires and retains the best employees while growing a strong talent pipeline.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of full life-cycle recruiting with the proven ability to manage multiple hard-to-fill requisitions simultaneously.

3 years’ experience sourcing candidates using Indeed and LinkedIn Recruiter.
Demonstrated experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (Ultipro/UKG preferred).
Professionalism, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively verbally and in writing.
Strong Boolean searching skills; active recruiter who goes out and finds passive candidates.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reviews resumes, employment applications, interviews, and screens applicant’s technical competence, applicable background and skills, individual goals, and ability to fit in the organization and function effectively.
• Collaborates with hiring managers through the entire hiring process for the position while abiding by internal recruitment process rules.
• Ensures all recruitment efforts are conducted in compliance with all policies, laws, and hiring best practices.
• Sources candidates using online and social media outlets such as LinkedIn to actively engage job seekers and generate traction for positions.
• Assesses applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes.
• Acts as a point of contact and builds influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
• Schedules interviews and provides regular updates to hiring managers on recruitment activity for positions; communicates status of candidates and hires.
• Extends verbal and written contingent job offers.
• Coordinates appropriate employment testing.
• Conducts new employee orientation.
• Acts as an advocate of the company, identifies potential candidate sources and initiates/maintains relationships with a network of contacts to continually increase the quality and size of applicant pools.
• Sources talent by utilizing the ATS, job boards, postings, and referrals.
• Follows up with the related administrative aspects of recruitment, including onboarding documentation, new job requisition documentation, communicating with the hiring manager regarding new hire start dates and ensuring the appropriate job requisition is associated with each new hire.
• Prepares well-documented recruiting s with related analysis.
• Participates in continuous branding efforts through job fairs, virtual hiring events and college recruitment activities.
• Meets or exceeds quarterly Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) as assigned.
• Assists with other HR projects and administrative activities as assigned.
• Adheres to Code of Conduct as outlined in the Baylor Genetics Compliance Program
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
