Primary Purpose of Position:

At BayFirst, we’re committed to providing our customers with the ultimate banking experience. With the growing nature of digital initiatives and demand for a digital-led experience, BayFirst is looking for a Digital Operations Analyst to join our team. The Digital Operations Analyst will serve as a key support role as the Bank launches new digital products. The Digital Operations Analyst performs and assists in all activities in the Digital Banking Operations of the Bank, including, but not limited to, Electronic Banking, Treasury Management and all online banking and digital platforms.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for overseeing and reviewing all transactions made through digital channels for both loan and deposit products.
• Assist in the launch of new digital products while proactively taking an active role in implementation.
• Become a Subject Matter Expert for all digital products and how those products integrate within the Bank.
• Take ownership of digital processes and procedures to ensure processes are completed timely and in accordance with department guidelines, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Responsible for executing certain control activities surrounding new customer onboarding through digital channels and other control functions for existing customer transactions.
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders across product, operations, finance, and legal/compliance teams within the Bank.
• Be an advocate for the customer internally and help provide suggestions for refining the digital product and go-to-market strategy.
• Assist internal customers on various platforms offered by the Bank, including, but not limited to, online and mobile banking, Bill Pay, remote deposit capture, mobile deposit, wire transfers, ACH transfers, Zelle transfers, and debit cards.
• Assist in preparation and research pertaining to auditing, examinations, and monitoring requests. Lead projects as assigned by the Digital Operations Manager or Director of Operations. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications include but are not limited to:

• Technology-oriented
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with the aptitude to learn new software and systems
• Bachelor’s Degree or an Associate’s degree and equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of banking experience in Treasury Management, Digital Banking, payments, or IT-related technology field
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with Zelle Network Participation Rules. Knowledge of Jack Henry Applications, the Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, OFAC rules, NACHA procedures and deposit regulations, including specifically Federal Reserve Regulations CC, DD, E, and J, would be a plus
