Bay Area Community Resources Hiring for After School Teacher at San Francisco, CA Full Time

Bay Area Community Resources at A.P Giannini Middle School in San Francisco is seeking committed and passionate Program Leaders to lead academic, physical, and enrichment activities as part of our Beacon After School Programs at AP Giannini Middle School. Under the direction of the Site Coordinator, Program Leaders will provide homework assistance and will lead a Project-Based Learning Club with groups of up to 20 students.

Requirements

Associate Degree OR 48 or more college units OR pass the Instructional Aide exam

Must be able to communicate openly in a professional manner with students, parents, community partners, and after-school and school day-staff

Ability to commit to a full Academic Year

An ability to maintain goals and priorities when dealing with varying challenges

Cantonese or Mandarin speakers a plus, but not necessary.

CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to receive training)

Preferred: Commitment to a full school year, able to practice open, clear and consistent communication, commitment to participate in professional development. Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have a valid medical or religious exemption.
