The Role: Talent Acquisition Manager – Australia and New Zealand
Reporting the Talent Acquisition Director, Asia Pacific you will lead all Talent Acquisition activities for the Australia and New Zealand. In this role you will hold accountability for managing key local HR stakeholders and senior business stakeholders and be responsible for ensuring quality orientated, efficient, and cost-effective talent acquisition delivery for ANZ. This will include leading, coaching and developing a small team high performing team of Talent Acquisition resources. In addition to this you will sit on the Asia Pacific Talent Acquisition Leadership team and get involved in driving TA related projects for the region.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leadership of ANZ TA team with strong focus on sourcing effectiveness, recruiter capability, team-work bench / capacity management, Inclusion and diversity sourcing strategies, and stakeholder satisfaction
- Local Employer Branding: including effective development, activation, and utilisation of our Employer Branding Proposition
- Reporting and analysis: Critically analyse Talent Acquisition data to identify trends / opportunities for process improvement and strategy realignment
- Talent Pipelining: Responsible for defining and implementing the talent pipelining strategy for ANZ
- Stakeholder Management: including working with local Senior Managers and Leaders and collaboration with local HR team.
- Recruitment delivery -In conjunction with our Asia Pacific Executive recruitment function responsible for managing strategic or confidential searches as required as well as hands on involvement in managing open vacancies when required
- Project Delivery and Continuous improvement: Foster, drive and advocate continuous improvement and strategic project delivery
We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager who has solid experience within a internal or RPO environment to work in our friendly and purpose driven team. Ideally you will have worked within a global organisation and have experience working within White-Collar and Blue-Collar recruiting environments. Previous experience within the healthcare, medical devices/technology or pharmaceutical sector will be highly desired.
Other key requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
- Experience driving interview best practices and successful identification and implementation of assessment methodologies to facilitate ‘right first time’ hiring.
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills including capability to build strong relationships with senior business leaders
- Proven capability using and optimising recruiting technologies (Video Interviewing, ATS and CRMs), direct sourcing tools and techniques
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
- Deep understanding of recruitment best practices, ideally cross industry / multiple regions and experience with Employer Brand / Employer Value Proposition activation
- Previous experience thriving in a transformative environment with proven ability to manage effectively with ambiguity
- Strong leader with experience in driving high performance and change
- Some travel may be required from time to time to engage with stakeholders
