“BAXIANGUOHAI” (http://www.baxian.ca/) is a newly established immigration consulting service company located in Richmond, BC, Canada. We have an immediate opening as a full-time position of Immigration Case Assistant in our Case Processing Department. This position will work closely with our Immigration Case Manager on a wide range of documents related to Canadian immigration matters, including LMIA, PNP, family sponsorship, etc. The Assistant will mainly assist the supervisor with writing letters, filling forms, checking materials and proofreading documents.

Responsibilities:

New grads are very welcomed for this position.

• Responsible for clients’ applications for temporary resident and permanent resident; follow up case processing until it is approved by IRCC
• Prepare, organize and file written materials into proper folders
• Check materials to ensure their accuracy and compliance to the requirements set by IRCC or provincial nominee programs
• Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents, and revise information if necessary
• Conduct research on immigration programs and policies so as to draft application documents or explanation letters for applicants
• Perform other related duties, as assigned

Requirements:

Mandarin speaking is necessary for this position.

• Applicants must be able to read and write Mandarin
• Exceptional English writing skills are mandatory
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently
• Experience in the immigration industry is preferred
• Completion of the Immigration Consultant Certificate program is a plus but not required
• legal assistant: 1 year (preferred)
• LMIA and PNP working experience (preferred)
