Purpose of the position

Provides technical support for Manufacturing, technical training, continuous improvement and is responsible for validating specific projects. Manages and participates in the automation of the Manufacturing sector.

Main functions

Technical support for manufacturing

• Comply with the requirements of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Health, Safety and Environment (EH&S) policy
• Participation in the achievement of department objectives (Production)
• TPM support for preventive maintenance
• Development of the assembly guide for each equipment
• Participation in the analysis of manufacturing needs and facilitate the development of the site plan
• R&D
• Participation in the purchase of new equipment

Responsible for training (MARS, CSP, Mirage, etc.)

Technical training support

• Training guide
• Assist in the training of operators on their specific projects
• Development procedure after installation of new equipment
• Floor computer system (MARS, CSP, Mirage, etc.)

Responsible for validating specific projects

• Support for the development of installation and operation validation protocols in accordance with Health Canada and FDA
• Execution of validation protocols
• Support in the drafting of validation reports, procedures and documentation

Continuous improvement support

• Develops and documents detailed knowledge for all departmental and interdepartmental processes

Responsible for the calibration of certain equipment.

Management responsibility

Ensures the development of his colleagues and proposes training plans.

Values the spirit of innovation by listening to colleagues.

Resources

Proposes the necessary investments for his department.

Knowledge and skills required:
a) Required training

DEC. technical or equivalent.

10 years of manufacturing experience.

Knowledge of production steps.

Knowledge of equipment.

Ability to find information when it is not available.
