Bath Spa University Hiring for L/SL Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Job at Bath, England Full Time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in TESOL to join our collaborative, creative team on our flagship Education awards that provide students with a broad and balanced understanding of education, specifically English language education, its role in society and the issues presented by social and economic inequalities.

You will join a vibrant academic community to design, develop and deliver modules across the School of Education’s programmes, and to engage in research and scholarly activity. We will support you in developing your teaching, research and publication profile, enabling you to build internal and external networks and seek access to external funding.

About you (requirements)

You will be someone who shares our values and commitment to social justice, student-centred teaching and learning and providing an excellent student experience. You will be an excellent teacher and researcher with demonstrable interest in pedagogic innovation, and will have extensive knowledge and experience in English language teaching and pedagogy at all levels. Recent and relevant TESOL/TEFL/EAP/EAL experience would be an advantage. You will have a higher degree in a field related to TESOL with additional TESOL/TEFL professional qualifications and recent successful leadership and/or coordination experience working in university language departments or specialist language colleges. You enjoy working collaboratively and flexibly and being open to new ideas and challenges.
