Bates County Health Center Hiring for Local Public Health Department Administrator Full Time

Bates County Health Center is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Administrator.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

*supervisory activities of all staff

*plan/organize/direct/coordinate the day to day operations and activities and on-going functions of the Health Center

*budget preparation, financial audit duties, and other financial aspects

*interpret policies and regulations for the public

*maintain a strong working relationship with the staff, Board of Trustees, county officials, press, community organizations and community partners

*understanding and assuring completion of all contracts and billings

*prepare s for Board of Trustees

*adherence to Missouri State Statutes that apply to local public health agencies

*numerous other duties as assigned.

Knowledge requirements:

*Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Public Health or related field OR completed RN with current Missouri license

*previous experience in management preferred

*previous experience in Public Health preferred

*considerable computer knowledge and ability

*previous experience in preparing and maintaining budget preferred

*previous knowledge of QuickBooks accounting system preferred

*thorough knowledge of the principles and practices involved in the administration of a county-wide public health program preferred

*considerable knowledge of the programs and objectives of a county health agency and the inter-professional relationships in the implementation of its programs

*above average ability to multi task

Salary based on previous experience of above as well as stated knowledge requirements with approximate salary range of $60,000.00 to $75,000.00 annually.
