Responsibilities:

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for the execution of company financial plans; maintaining accurate financial records needed for internal, taxation, or auditing purposes; maintaining company creditworthiness; supporting efficient budgeting of resources; and projecting future costs or revenue growths. The ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple companies, be a detail oriented self-starter.

Duties:

General Accounting Process

• Overseeing and finalizing month, quarter and year-end close and reconciliation of accounts. WIP are done by job and reports are completed monthly
• Creating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements or other various reports as requested by Office Manager, General Manager, Partners, or CPAs.
• Managing monthly, quarterly, & annual tax filings, pre-payments, payments, returns, etc. for Sales Tax and Income Tax.
• Collaboration & strategic planning of annual budgets.
• Management of Hedgehog goal tracking and weekly team reporting.
• Monthly calculation, reporting, and liability set up for inside and third-party project commissions.
• Monthly accrual set up.
• Managing relationship and coordination of projects with outside accounting firm.

Project Invoicing Process

• Generating Customer Invoices timely and accurately. Working with General Managers to ensure all information is accurate.
• Overseeing credit applications and accounts of credit, working with Partners to establish appropriate credit limits.
• Managing of entry and timely payment of Accounts Payable. Check runs every Wednesday; to be reviewed with Owner.
• Monitoring and overseeing Accounts Receivable. Applying incoming payments daily. Managing collections on past due accounts. Overseeing releasing or placing of liens.

Accountabilities:

• AP – Payables are entered within 2 days of receipt. Payments are made timely.
• Accurate financials are reported and filed. An accurate account balance can be reported on a daily basis.
• Accounting for over and under billings with WIP
• Tax filings and payments are accurately and timely filed.
• Budgets are maintained and forecasted with variances communicated.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
