Where the Chemistry Happens…

As Manager, Talent Attraction and Acquisition, you are responsible for the strategy and vision of BASF North America Talent Attraction and Acquisition including employer branding, diversity recruitment strategy, and sourcing. In addition, you will optimize service delivery, continuous improvement, and execution excellence in partnership with service recipients and the Montevideo, Uruguay Hub.

Your transformational, agile, and innovative leadership will support your successful collaboratation with business leaders, the HR business partner community, COE’s, and other global and external groups to identify, attract, and acquire key talent into BASF. You will ensure we have the talent needed to meet current and future business demands.

This leadership role is responsible for continuously working with business and function leaders as well as the HR community to assess talent demand and supply and design demand-driven talent solutions in partnership with the HUB that meets the business needs, in a dynamic and highly competitive external talent market. Your leadership ensures our candidate experience and talent assessment is on par, surpassing leading market practices, incorporating digital tools and innovation into the process.

You’ll ensure that our BASF Employee Value Proposition, including our compelling total offer, extends from our external campaigns through to our internal employee experience through an active partnership with all areas of Talent Strategy. You will provideguidance and coaching to aid the BUs with NA BU talent scorecard targets related to Diversity+Inclsion and the North America talent challenge.

Qualifications – BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Formula for Success Capitalizing on your progressive HR experience in the Talent Acquisition or HR Generalist space, coupled with your success in managing a team and developing talent in both a centralized and decentralized talent function, you will:

Operationalize an effective TA (Talent Acquisition) Delivery support model in partnership with the HUB which enables scalability and attracts, selects, and secures diverse talent

Partner closely with business leaders and SHRBAs, gaining insight on their talent priorities and major areas of focus, and identify demand-driven solutions which successfully satisfies their needs Serve on the global employer branding team, representing and strengthening our ‘Employer Brand’ to the vast and diverse NA employment market Manifest the BASF Values and Employer Value Proposition including our Total Compelling Offer with your creative development of tools, processes and systems, attracting the best talent in the world, inclusive of a unique and powerful company brand with the implementation of creative sourcing and recruiting programs Preserve and cultivate our strong presence at top tier universities and manage the recruiting efforts of our University Recruiting Program, producing significant brand awareness and growth in our number of exemplary hires Implement a recruitment methodology focused on candidate experience and employer brand which considerably and favorably impacts our measured results Design TA strategy which advises, coaches and implements regional D+I strategies for individual BUs and functions that ultimately fosters a more creative and innovative workforce Develop metrics that illustrate the progress and success of all Talent Acquisition strategies (business priorities, regional strategy, budget, etc.) with a focus on continuous improvement and the implementation of actionable insights
