HR Manager, Australia

• Site HRBP
  • Partner with the Site Manager and Site Management Team for organization optimization, talent management, people development, performance management, etc.
  • Operate as a decision-maker to implement follow-up actions from all HR-related aspects as necessary.
  • Support operational and strategic workforce planning initiatives developed by the Country Lead Team and in response to key events and during the annual budget process.
• Culture & Integration
  • Support planned activities to continue the integration of the site into BC’s ways of working and into OSCO methodologies, including in development and organization design
  • Act as an ambassador of BC’s culture, encouraging our people to embrace BC’s ways of working and our culture initiatives.
  • Support the development and achievement of our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion programs.
• HR operations
  • Recruitment and Staffing
  • Work with Regional TA Lead for the recruitment of banded white-collar position at the site.
  • Independently conduct recruitment activity for non-banded white-collar and blue-collar positions.
  • Manage contractor relationships, including labor agencies, and support operations colleagues in managing labor hire relationships.
• HRIS
  • Execute Onboarding and Offboarding procedures to ensure all incoming and outgoing employees are, respectively, fully prepared for entry to the Company and exited respectfully and efficiently;
  • Maintain files as necessary on employees
  • Execute invoices from vendors within systems as required
• Compensation & Benefits
  • Prepare employment contracts in line with the direction of the HR Country Lead and liaise with new hires on terms and conditions.
  • Review and propose the salary proposal for offline adjustments as needed.
  • Conduct ACR in Campbellfield.
  • Support weekly and monthly payroll processes, including weekly adjustments for site-based employees.
• ER
  • Organize communication events (e.g. quarterly townhall, walk the talk, etc.) and drive engagement initiatives, including Annual WellBean and Recognition activities
  • Act as the first point of contact on Employee grievances and provide counseling as required
  • Support site leaders in managing performance counseling, disciplinary matters, and other issues as required
• Learning & Development: Work with key stakeholders to foster a learning culture at Campbellfield, including the rollout of global and regional development initiatives, the proposal of local training requirements, and individual development achievement as required
• HR Projects
  • Represent Campbellfield site in key projects and initiatives, provide insights and thoughts at planning stages of HR projects.
  • Deliver agreed commitments against the project plan
• Compliance
  • Ensure all HR related activities are compliant with local laws and with BC’s global and regional policies, including our Global Values and our Code of Conduct
  • Develop, maintain and operate policies needed to clarify and support the smooth and effective operation of Campbellfield as a key element of BC’s ANZ and APAC operations
  • Support relevant stakeholders to deliver a successful audit. (e.g SMETA/FSSC/customer audits etc)
  • Complete Customer Compliance document requests as required from time to time
• Others: Support key stakeholders in Pandemic responses and workforce management during COVID, ensuring operations continuity and compliance with global & regional BC requirements

• 5 years HR generalist HR experience.
• Familiar with the market practice and employment practices in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in manufacturing operations and in working with and interpreting Award conditions
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
• Experience in Atoss and Success Factors an advantage.
• Good written and communication skills.
• English speaker.
• Possess good self-initiative and ability to work independently.
• Good attention to detail and organizing skills.
• Resilient and pragmatic approach to addressing problems, standing own ground when required
• Ability to support site operations within a wider, country context
• Resourceful and able to multi-task.
