Data Administrator

Hours: TBC Monday – Friday

Salary: £20,000 pro rata

Contract: Temporary

Location: Working remotely (Once fully trained. Training at Bolton office)

Barry Bennett Ltd are one of the largest suppliers of assistive technology to students in receipt of DSA (Disabled Students’ Allowance) throughout the UK. We provide installation, familiarisation, training and aftercare to students who have been recommended assistive technology following an ‘assessment of study needs’.

The role of the Data Administrator will involve working alongside the Prep and Warehouse teams, with primary focus of supporting the additional administration requirements. The successful candidate should hold good attention to detail and have the ability to work independently. This role will initially be on a temporary basis of 6 months, with a review after this point with the possibility of becoming permanent. The role will be working five days per week, however we can be flexible with the hours which will be discussed at interview stage.

Main Responsibilities:

• Daily software invites for iView, Glean, Grammarly and Present Pal
• Booking in serial codes
• Importing customer data onto the portal to make serial codes available
• Consigning courier deliveries
• Dealing with communication avenues, mainly via Slack and email regarding outstanding invites and software queries from the training team
• Other ad-hoc administration as required

Requirements:

The successful applicant will possess the following qualities:

• Have exceptional attention to detail
• Able to enter data accurately
• Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Possess good time management skills
• Be confident to work independently
• You must be eligible to work in the UK
• Applicants will be DBS checked and must have a clean record
