Main duties of the job

The main duties of the post holder are:

To support NHSE, HEE and the National Breast Screening Training Centres to shape the development of this role and support the strategic regional planning for future training and education initiatives for the NHSBSP.

To be a clinical expert in mammography and breast imaging and to work with staff in clinical practice to promote the acquisition of new skills and knowledge.

To be responsible for the clinical supervision and development of radiographic / associate and assistant practitioner’ or learners in conjunction with the team’s senior leadership.

To contribute to the development of clinical practice policies and evidence based practice as appropriate.

Act as client advocate in line with Trust core values
