Our client based in Middlesex, operating in a niche sector of the food industry are looking to recruit a Finance Director / Senior Financial Controller with solid Logistics or Supply Chain experience.

Working in partnership with the Managing Director this position will involve leading an established finance function whilst commercially supporting the growth of the business.

Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

• Working closely with MD and board
• Manage, lead and resource the finance department
• Set, follow and deliver budgets and forecasts
• Project and cost accounting
• Preparation of accounts, financial statements and activity reports
• Monitoring business performance
• Provide astute and insightful financial analysis
• Develop financial modelling to support business initiatives
• Ensure the company is in line with statutory regulations and legislation including insurances
• Financial and strategic analysis
• Review operational procedures and make necessary improvements
• Oversee accounting activities including cost control, compliance, cash flow, risk analysis and profit and loss

You will need to be:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
• A team player who can communicate effectively
• Experienced in Sage
• At least 5 years relevant experience
• A strategic thinker who can provide financial insight to the business
