Talent Insights Manager
Glasgow
As a Talent Insights Manager, you will support and drive the design and delivery of talent products and services along with Talent Insights to generate simple and easy-to-understand actionable recommendations that will provide the greatest impact and commercial value for our internal clients. The role will focus on the talent identification, succession planning, and executive development processes to accelerate the use of data and standardise the way that we operate across our services, tools and insight generation.

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. We’re flexible on how this works and it may continue to change and evolve. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. What will you be doing?
• Challenging and enhancing data-based talent services, tools and insights to accelerate the talent sub service offering

- Supporting the design and delivery of more automated tools to support the Succession, Promotions and Executive Development processes
- Owning and managing the data repositories for Succession Planning and Executive Development, ensuring complete and accurate records are held
- Developing the right controls and management practices and overseeing the data process to ensure all talent data is accurately captured and prepared
- Managing projects to create innovation in talent analytics to drive talent agenda forward, including partnering with other HR teams and relevant business teams
- Translating talent related MI findings into easy to understand and actionable insights and recommendations for internal clients
What we’re looking for:
• Deep understanding of the talent analytics, talent systems and HR environment
• Deep understanding of the talent analytics, talent systems and HR environment
- Experience working with talent systems including Workday and Survey Tools like Qualtrics
- Proven track-record in data management/ BI/ Visualisation/ analytics, with a aolid analytical capability and high degree of numeracy
- Track record in successful project management in a complex matrix environment
Skills that will help you in the role:

- Experience in talent management and advanced data analytics (Advance Excel, Tableau, Qlik View, Qlik Sense)
- Knowledge and experience in using HR databases/ reporting tools (Business Objects, SAP, Taleo, Success Factors, Workday, SQL, JavaScript, API, Qualtrics, Workday)
- Experience of working in virtual teams, knowledge of external survey tools e.g. Qualtrics, MS Forms, MS Teams
