As a Barclays Senior Talent Acquisition Manager – Europe, this is an exciting time to join our Global Talent Acquisition team, being the primary relationship management lead for your respective client group, working to effectively ensure the delivery of a great candidate, hiring manager and stakeholder experience. This is a highly visible role, where you’ll be able to share and display an understanding of commercial values and an in-depth knowledge of the business areas you’ll be partnering with.

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. We’re flexible on how this works and it may continue to change and evolve. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. What will you be doing?
• Ensuring business stakeholders receive timely and insightful MI inclusive of key operational data

- Acting as a single point of escalation for named client groups, mirroring the HR Business Partner model
- Building and maintaining close relationships with all relevant stakeholders, to ensure appropriate awareness and understanding of the broader Talent Acquisition and HR functional agenda
- Building an in-depth understanding of current and future hiring requirements of the business
- Partnering with the relevant sub-service to design, develop and oversee appropriate delivery of a TA strategies
- Shaping and leading key projects which facilitate delivery of the People and Talent Acquisition strategy
- Influencing, shaping and promoting “best practices”, being a Diversity & Inclusion champion and developing strategies and tactics to establish Barclays as an “employer of choice”
- Ensuring policy, standards and governance is a fundamental part of the strategy and execution plan
What we’re looking for:
• Talent Acquisition subject matter expertise with a breadth of experience in a variety of hiring channels

- Proven data mindset, with the ability to leverage MI effectively and provide actionable insights
- Execution mindset and work at pace with a focus on “right first time” execution
- Solid reputational, governance and risk mind-set, showing well-developed diagnostic skills and problem-solving techniques
Skills that will help you in the role:
