Programme Manager – Talent Acquisition Operations
Northampton

As a Barclays Programme Manager, you will join our team within Talent Acquisition Operations (TAO) to oversee and execute the delivery of key strategic projects within the Service line, whilts also creating solutions to longstanding challenges and roadblocks to the service. Your experitse will allow you to identify and implement enhancements to TAO and associated Service Models, including opportunities for further consolidation of functions within core service centres in India, as wll as to provide insightful analysis and reporting.

What will you be doing?
• Collaborating with the Global Service Managers and Transaction Cycle leads, as well as Service Improvement and Service Managers

  • Delivering the Global Service Strategy for TAO, ensuring that SME input is managed as required
  • Developing strategy to ensure SME contribution, leveraging motivational tools, such as cheerleading, motivation, goal setting, and others tools, as required
  • Ensuring all strategic deliverables have clear milestones, and for each deliverable the relevant resource is prioritised
  • Helping to drive a continuous improvement mind-set across the service
  • Providing regular clear and transparent updates to stakeholders and leadership
  • Steering strategic direction to meet requirements of business and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the global service delivery model
  • Analysing problems and evaluating options/ solutions in a logical and systematic way
What we’re looking for:
• Demonstrable experience in HR with good exposure to HR service delivery, service or account management

  • Extensive Project or Programme Manager experience
  • Extensive experience of managing a wide range of stakeholders
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Project Management qualification

  • Exposure to working in a Service Delivery role run out of a Shared Service Centre
  • Exposure to working in a Shared Services/Operational environment
  • Experience of managing a global team

Where will you be working?
Northampton was the birthplace of Barclaycard in 1966 and we’ve been based in Pavilion Drive since the building opened in 1997.
We purchased the building from the landlord in early 2018 as a sign of our commitment to investment in Northampton. Plans to further develop this Campus-style location are under way to allow for a real collaborative work environment.

Based just off the A45 it is easily accessible by both car and bus routes.
