Barclays Hiring for Finance Stress Testing Manager Job at Glasgow, Scotland Full Time

As a Barclays Finance Stress Testing Manager you will be providing stress testing financial support. This includes providing accurate, relevant financial information using highly controlled automatic and manual processes. You will have an opportunity to interact with peers and senior stakeholders in the Finance, Risk, Treasury, Risk Analytics and Model Risk Management teams. This is an important role, in which you will interact with stakeholders in the parent organizations in both the UK and US.

What will you be doing?
• Providing financial analysis of Balance Sheet and Income Statement movements under differing economic conditions

• Interpret and predict impacts to customer behaviour and business strategy in economic stress
• Coordinate between Finance, Risk and Treasury departments ensuring accuracy, completeness and assumption alignment to financial statements
• Providing model development, documentation and autonomous delivery of all aspects required for model governance
• Document processes and procedures surrounding above responsibilities
• Have ownership of complete and accurate transformation of Barclays US stress test results to meet submission requirements
• Supporting ad-hoc financial analysis as needed

What we’re looking for:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline required

• Demonstrable experience with Financial Analysis
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent financial statement understanding

Skills that will help you in the role:
• Experience working for a large financial institution

• Exposure to dealing with credit card products is preferred
• Experience with Hyperion Essbase would be advantageous
• The ability to multi-task and prioritize as needed
