Job Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. We are in a fast-paced start-up environment and it’s critical that you are a team player and can work independently.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- You will be the primary point of contact of 83bar for delivering the best resumes, conducting thorough interviews, and negotiating salaries.
- Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
- Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Assists with job posting and advertisement processes monitors ad campaign performance and provides suggestions to optimize performance.
- Maintains a working relationship with the point of contact for platforms and vendors/outside recruiting resources.
- Own the candidate experience and create memorable interactions that help attract the best talent.
- Collects and analyzes data to maintain a current understanding of fair and competitive market salaries, candidate availability, and demand for candidates in particular fields.
- Screens candidates, selects qualified and interested candidates for the interviewing phase, and then connects viable candidates with clients or hiring managers.
- Schedules interviews; oversees the preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
- Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
- Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
- Checks candidates’ references and credentials, verifying experience and backgrounds.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
- Will also work closely with the human resources team as a specialist to perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment of a variety of roles.
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn ATS.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, GSuite, and Slack.
- Has a minimum of 3 years working remotely as a recruiter.
- Manage a portfolio of active searches and proactively seek out talent to build the pipeline.
- Must be a self-starter.
- Work well independently, but also within a team environment.
- Act with integrity, confidentiality, and an ethical mindset.
- Highly proactive and internally driven.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or strong work equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 4 years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process is preferred.
- LinkedIn Recruiter experience is a plus.
