Baptist Health is looking to add a Medical Assistant in our Primary Care Department at Baptist Primary Care Nocatee Pediatrics in Jacksonville, Florida. This opening is a full-time opportunity.

This position is for the Baptist Primary Care Nocatee Pediatrics office. The position is for back office. The candidate will be responsible for administering vaccines and taking vitals manually. This position requires traveling to other locations. Must be willing to work rotating weekend shift and some late nights.

As a Medical Assistant, You Will Be Responsible For

• Provides nursing assistance to physician
• Obtains vital signs
• Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
• Maintains medical documentation
• Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
• Processes prescription requests and referrals
