BAP Logistics Hiring for East Coast Box Truck Dispatcher at Newark, NJ Full Time

Duties:

– Working East Coast time zone

– Coordinate and schedule transportation activities, including dispatching drivers and tracking shipments.
– Perform data entry tasks to update and maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and driver information.
– Communicate with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
– Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues or delays that may arise.
– Collaborate with warehouse personnel to coordinate shipping and receiving activities.
– Provide support to drivers by addressing any questions or concerns they may have during their routes.

Requirements:

– Working East Coast time zone

– Previous experience in dispatching or transportation management is preferred.
– Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with drivers, customers, and other team members.
– Knowledge of fleet management principles and practices.
– Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
– Strong problem-solving skills to address any issues or delays that may occur during transportation operations.
– Experience working with third-party logistics is a plus.
