Banyan Search is conducting a search for a Senior Accountant for an exceptional client. If you enjoy a role that will challenge you and also offer great work/life balance and a family friendly environment this position is for you! The responsibilities of the Senior Accountant include:
- Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations for month end close
- Analyze financial statements to ensure appropriate accounting
- Analyze trends and problem solve issues for monthly financial accounting close
- Work with auditors and ensure compliance with internal controls
- Special projects and budgeting as needed
Qualifications:
- BSBA in Accounting, Finance or comparable field
- 3+ years of experience working in accounting
- Strong analytical ability and proven track record of accuracy and attention to detail
- Effective teamwork and communication
- Advanced Excel required
The Senior Accountant will be an integral part of the accounting team, and will work closely with the Accounting Manager and Controller on monthly financial matters.
