Position Summary:
The BaaS Operations Specialist is a role that covers all tasks in the BaaS operations team, the staff will cross-train and obtain a general knowledge of functions within the department, then be assigned responsibilities for specific functions after cross-training has been completed. Key items include daily balancing of FBO accounts, management of reserve account balances, management of card processing items, wire and ACH processing, wire and ACH transaction research, and general support of BaaS clients.

Essential Job Functions:

• Process incoming and outgoing BaaS Wire and ACH files
• Process BaaS debit card processing/disputes
• Process quarterly MC/VISA ing for BaaS clients
• Process balancing of bank owned BaaS FBO accounts
• Manage reserve accounts for NSF and debit card losses
• Work directly with BaaS partners for technical Wire and ACH file issues and debit card disputes
• Work department projects with manager
• Works with IT and software/system vendor partners to ensure systems are working correctly

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Understanding of deposit and cash management services and products
• Understanding of ACH and Wire processing
• Understanding of debit card dispute processing

Preferred Education and Experience:

• 3 years of deposit or 5 years of operational or retail experience
• Wire and ACH processing knowledge

• Experience with COCC, WITS and Affirmative preferred but not required
• Self-starter, multitasker

• Microsoft experience
