Role Overview:
We are looking for a Talent & Learning Consultant to join the regional EMEA Talent & Learning team. This role is responsible for driving learning, development, talent management and organizational effectiveness priorities of the business. This includes identifying opportunities, strategies and solutions while working closely with colleagues of the broader Talent team, subject matter experts, vendors and stakeholders to execute talent, learning and leadership development solutions.
The Talent and Learning team are responsible for supporting the EMEA ExCo and their Senior Leadership Teams with their personal, team and organisational development. The individual would be responsible for driving line of business Talent activity in Global Corporate & Investment Banking across EMEA. The individual will also work in partnership with the Talent Acquisition team, Diversity & Inclusion, and HR Generalists to enable the EMEA leaders and their leadership teams to deliver their people strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
Support the line of business leaders to ensure that all learning and development solutions and interventions are aligned to the business priorities
Drive the GCIB succession planning and talent identification and development, e.g. talent planning, succession planning, development plans
Support execution of core global processes and initiatives, for example employee engagement, performance management, D&I, 360 feedback and learning & development programmes
Support key leaders and their leadership teams with 1 on 1 career development sessions, team effectiveness initiatives, career navigator sessions or career development planning
Gather, analyse and leverage talent data to support decision making, completion and follow-up action planning of all talent, learning and performance management processes
Prepare materials and join stakeholder meetings where necessary to support accurate data gathering and reporting across all LOBs to identify themes and track actions on all activities e.g. Talent Planning meetings, Women in Finance initiatives.
Work with clients and their teams to deliver ESAT reports and support ESAT reviews and action planning
Partner with the business to create Onboarding Plans for all new senior hires and where required to satisfy regulatory requirements
Ensure pre & post discussions take place with all Enterprise Programme participants
Works on ad-hoc projects and events e.g. Board Member visits, Internal Mobility initiatives, cross LOB/region processes etc.
Project manage LOB specific events and partner with the Learning Team to ensure successful execution of; vendor led events, conferences, development days, promotion celebration events, career development sessions and webinars of up to 100 participants
Utilize data to demonstrate impact of initiatives and tell the story about progress made

The Global Human Resources (GHR) team provides comprehensive human resource management services for the Bank. The core services within GHR include – Staffing, Talent & Learning, Shared Services, Compensation & Benefits & Employee Relations (ER).
The EMEA Talent & Learning team consists of approximately 20 team members, striving to serve our clients with innovative and creative solutions to support their strategic priorities. Across the team there are frequent interactions with all lines of business and great opportunity to work closely with other colleagues across the HR function.
Key skills:
Degree or equivalent in HR or related field (eg Occupational / Organizational Psychology)
Experience in talent, leadership development or consultancy, with a strong working knowledge of the consultancy cycle, with an ability to effectively engage and influence others
A working knowledge of a broad range of talent management solutions including talent identification, succession planning, 360 feedback, leadership development initiatives and the application of learning to build organisational capability
Experience of designing, managing and implementing change programmes such as; culture change, people processes, systems upgrades, leadership programmes, organisational design changes and employee engagement
Experience in designing and delivering learning and development initiatives and events using a variety of delivery methods including on the job, classroom and using digital solutions
Able to work with effectively with all levels in the organisation, flexing style and approach as required in a range of complex situations
Strong abilities in managing and maintaining data using Excel and creating PowerPoint slides. Knowledge of HR and Performance Management systems and tools, Workday and Tableau would be advantageous
Experience in operating and delivering in a complex, fast paced, global financial services firm (or equivalent) with multiple stakeholders
Highly motivated self-starter with excellent analytical skills and a results-oriented mind-set
Tenacious, solutions focused, positive and resilient with the ability to overcome obstacles and challenges and remain agile to changing business needs and priorities
Excellent project management, time management and organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities at once with multiple senior stakeholders in Lines of Business and HR
