Role Description:
We are looking for a Junior Talent Programme Manager to join the regional EMEA Talent & Learning team. This role is responsible for developing and executing on the junior talent development plan for EMEA, across all lines of business. This includes identifying opportunities, strategies and solutions while working closely with colleagues of the broader talent & learning team, subject matter experts, vendors and stakeholders to execute the junior talent strategy in EMEA.
The Talent and Learning team are responsible for supporting the EMEA ExCo and their Senior Leadership Teams with their personal, team and organisational development, as well as guiding on the pipeline of talent from more junior levels. The individual will work in partnership with the Talent Acquisition team, Diversity & Inclusion, and HR Generalists to develop our early careers’ employees, and to support their overall retention and engagement. In addition, the individual will enable managers of junior talent to understand the overall development pathways, whilst equipping them to play an active role in the retention and engagement of our early career population.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the EMEA junior talent development strategy, to ensure that we have plans in place to provide quality learning opportunities for junior talent.
Ensure that all learning and development solutions and interventions are aligned to global Academy priorities as appropriate
Partner with global and regional HR colleagues to engage the business on the APAC Junior Talent Development Program.
Collaborate with global Junior Talent team on line of business programs, leveraging global initiatives and best practices in region where possible
Work to support Entry Level Training for EMEA participants and provide consultative support, where needed, around design and development of training.
Partner with Campus, HRG and Business to understand business priorities, across our LoBs, to help identify opportunities to develop and deliver Junior Talent solutions.
Own and maintain communication / stakeholder management plans to ensure effective communication at all levels on progress of junior talent strategy
Partnering with other teams to schedule and run key training events, where applicable
Gather, analyse and leverage talent data to support decision making, completion and follow-up action planning
Prepare materials and join stakeholder meetings where necessary to support accurate data gathering and reporting across all LOBs to identify themes and track actions on all activities
Work with clients’ managers to understand ESAT reports as it relates to Junior Talent and support alignment of action planning
Work on ad-hoc projects and events e.g. Board Member visits, Internal Mobility initiatives, cross LOB/region processes etc.
Project manage LOB specific events and partner with the Learning Team to ensure successful execution of; vendor led events, conferences, development days, promotion celebration events, career development sessions and webinars
Utilize data to demonstrate impact of initiatives and tell the story about progress made

The Global Human Resources (GHR) team provides comprehensive human resource management services for the Bank. The core services within GHR include – Staffing, Talent & Learning, Shared Services, Compensation & Benefits & Employee Relations (ER).
The EMEA Talent & Learning team consists of approximately 20 team members, striving to serve our clients with innovative and creative solutions to support their strategic priorities. Across the team there are frequent interactions with all lines of business and great opportunity to work closely with other colleagues across the HR function.
Key skills:
Experience in early careers’ talent programme management, with a strong working knowledge of the consultancy cycle, with an ability to effectively engage and influence others
A working knowledge of a broad range of junior talent solutions including development, development and the application of learning to build organisational capability
Experience of designing, managing and implementing change programmes such as; culture change, people processes, systems upgrades, leadership programmes, organisational design changes and employee engagement
Experience in designing and delivering learning and development initiatives and events using a variety of delivery methods including on the job, classroom and using digital solutions
Able to work with effectively with all levels in the organisation, flexing style and approach as required in a range of complex situations
Strong abilities in managing and maintaining data using Excel and creating PowerPoint slides. Knowledge of HR and Performance Management systems and tools, Workday and Tableau would be advantageous
Experience in operating and delivering in a complex, fast paced, global financial services firm (or equivalent) with multiple stakeholders
Highly motivated self-starter with excellent analytical skills and a results-oriented mind-set
Tenacious, solutions focused, positive and resilient with the ability to overcome obstacles and challenges and remain agile to changing business needs and priorities
Excellent project management, time management and organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities at once with multiple senior stakeholders in Lines of Business and HR
