So, what’s the role?

As Executive Assistant, you will play a strategic role in partnering with the Executive Management Team to enable delivery of our transformation agenda. This is not your average EA situation! Yes, your ultra-honed organisational skills will be welcomed and put to good use, but we don’t just need your calendaring abilities. We are looking for a true team player – someone with self-confidence and a sense of humour that will allow them to join a high-performing group of executives who work really hard and who love to laugh. A lot.

Your day-to-day life at Bank First will be spent working closely with our Chief of Staff (Jodie) as you provide support to our team of ‘Chiefs:’ Operations (Ashley), Risk (Alison), Member (Simone), Finance (Nicky), and People (Louise). Operating rhythms are super important in the life of a regulated entity like ours, so you’ve gotta love the ins and outs of corporate governance. We have specialists who handle the legal/company secretary side of things, but our support team works across responsibilities as needed, so you will play a part in facing must-meet deadlines. This is the kind of environment where you’ll see the CEO emptying the dishwasher…we all pitch in where necessary!

• What are your thoughts about the saying: “the customer is always right.” If you can, use examples from personal experience to support your viewpoint. Again, don’t overthink it! Just give us your musings, whatever they may be.
