Position Overview

Reports to Human Resource Manager and regularly interfaces with the Senior Management and the Operations Team. Provides recruitment services to include recruiting, sourcing, interviewing, candidates/applicants, tracking of metrics, and compliance with regulations and company policies. Responsible for the full scope of employment branding and recruitment initiatives.

Essential Job Functions

• Manage full life cycle (post, source, prescreen, schedule, background, references, offer, onboarding, etc.). Recruit full-time, part-time, and intern/co-op personnel.
• Establish recruiting requirements by meeting with managers to discuss needs, and evaluating applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers.
• Collaborate with hiring managers and/or Human Resource Managers during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
• Build applicant sources by advertising open positions on LinkedIn, Indeed, and the company website, and develop strategic applicant sourcing techniques and recruiting solutions.
• Strategic oversight of searching for and recruiting “passive” candidates using LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and other means.
• Assess potential candidates for fit within the position identified, including skills, education, and experience as well as competency and company culture.
• Arrange interviews by coordinating schedules, arranging travel, and following up with applicants and hiring managers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers and ensure a high level of customer service.
• Create and maintain the company’s presence on local college campuses by registering for and attending career fairs, and building relationships with college faculty, department heads, Career Services personnel, and co-op program coordinators.
• Primary responsibility for the ongoing networking activities of Talent Acquisition, including updates, connections, building the network of sources, and continual refinement and improvement to social network recruitment activities and association/college affiliations and industry organizations.
• Initiate the onboarding process by reaching out to applicants with offers and conducting pre-employment screenings.
• Strategic oversight of Bancroft’s New Hire Onboarding processes which includes schedule, presenters, format, job site tours, lunch orders, etc.
• Support the Human Resources department in employee relations endeavors to include promoting health and safety, improving employee morale, and maintaining an employee-friendly atmosphere.
• Assist with other Human Resources tasks as needed or when a scheduling conflict arises, including assisting with employee needs and questions, employee onboarding, and processing benefits.
• Understanding of company benefits, with the ability to share those confidently and clearly.
• Understanding of Bancroft’s training programs, with the ability to share those confidently and clearly.

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is a plus
• At least 2 – 4 years in all phases of the recruitment and hiring process are highly preferred is a plus

Skills

• Advanced computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products, sourcing programs, and applicant tracking systems. ADP experience is a plus.
• Must have the ability to provide interpersonal and communications skills to effectively communicate in person or via correspondence. Proficient use of English grammar, proofreading/editing, and spelling is required.
• Demonstration of good judgment, flexibility, and adaptability.
• Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable laws and regulations with an emphasis on EOE/AA and their requirements within HR and Talent Acquisition.
• High-level familiarity with the AEC industry, including industry terms, systems, processes, deliverables, and intelligence is preferred.
• Excellent presentation skills in person and with small and large groups.
• Ability to always represent the organization in a professional manner to ensure company policies and procedures as well as compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to listen to the needs of the candidate and analyze means and methods to resolve those needs in a professional and economical manner.
• Ability to influence and persuade to achieve desired outcomes.

Salary – $59,000.00 – $90,813.00
