Bana Electric Corp Hiring for Jr. AutoCAD Draftsman/Administrative Assistant Full Time

Role and Responsibilities

You will work with our senior Bim/AutoCad professional to assist in modeling and coordinating the electrical systems on a major electrical project. Your role will be to work with the entire project team to implement various technology platforms and applications to efficiently drive project(s) towards completion; including implementing new workflows, expanding knowledge in digital solutions and tools, and ensuring the project deliverables are consistently met throughout the life of the project(s).

The primary responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

Coordinate with project team members in order to ensure all drafting and modeling needs are met.

Support project team(s) with their designs by integrating information into an existing 3D model to streamline installation.

Assist in managing project models and coordination efforts.

Implement advanced virtual design strategies to improve efficiency as well as assist the installers in streamlining their workflow.

Assist as necessary in order to achieve digital fluency between all team members and all technology implementations.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Minimum of 3 years professional experience in BIM/VDC Management

Minimum of 3 years experience working in electrical construction

Advanced experience in the implementation of; Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other Autodesk platforms

Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite

Strong initiative—the willingness and ability to succeed in a collaborative, team-based environment

Ability to multi-task with multiple projects in order to meet strict deadlines.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate thoughts and technical ideas

in an accessible way, both verbally and in writing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
