Ballard & Tighe is an educational publishing company that develops and sells its proprietary assessment and instructional materials primarily to schools and school districts across the United States. Educational Sales Consultants represent the company’s instructional and assessment products to school districts in their territory, managing all sales and sales related activities, such as creating initial contacts, making presentations, and providing product training/professional development and product support. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about the education of English learners (ELs) to join our team. This position requires you to create new sales opportunities and grow established accounts to maximize revenues. The company is based in Brea, California, but with the right technology skills and attitude, working partially or fully remotely is a possibility.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in educational or education-related sales; alternatively, equivalent experience in K-12 classroom experience teaching English learners and willingness to learn to sell will be considered

• Proven track record selling new products and achieving goals

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

• Willingness to travel as needed

Desirable qualifications:

• Experience in K-12 instructional sales

• Familiarity with purchasing cycles of school districts

• Classroom teaching experience is a plus

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
