Areas of responsibility for this position include:
Develop and maintain Factory Acceptance Testing processes for Fuel Cell products and systems
Creation of test plans, design of experiments, or GRR for Process verification and capability study
Operation of test stations for fuel cell systems
Create and Maintain Production Process Documentation
Assisting in the design and maintenance of test stations
Verification of designs through analysis and testing
Troubleshooting/resolution of components and systems for production testing
Continuous improvement of processes
Preparing and/or reviewing technical presentations and reports for communication of production status or metrics
Work with the product design and development teams for future products
Lead cross functional problem-solving activities related to in-house manufacturing processes
Effectively lead change management activities as a result of design or in-house and supplier process changes to ensure change meets safety, quality, or productivity requirements
Actively participate in the product development cycle such as design concept, design reviews, prototype evaluations, and trial builds and testing
Required Skills and Experience
Must have an engineering degree and experience from a related field
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience testing of hardware components, electrical and mechanical systems
Knowledge of electrical/electronic components and their characteristics, applications and limitations
Ability to read Process & Instrumentation Diagrams
Troubleshooting skills
Demonstrated capability for critical thinking
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong oral and written communication skills and good listening skills
Ability to work in a multi-functional team environment
Lean, 6sigma
Additional Consideration
Knowledge or experience with fuel cell technology
Ability to create Process & Instrumentation Diagrams
Experience with testing of PLCs, checking of Alarm & I/O Lists,
Experience with instrumentation including pressure, temperature and flow measurement devices
Experience with LabVIEW software
Experience with manufacturing documentation
Ability to travel internationally
