Summary: The Corporate Controls Engineer is an integral role within Corporate Engineering operations that creates and articulates the strategic vision for our digitation initiatives, industrial controls streamlining and standardization, project management, and continuous improvement initiatives that is aligned with our business strategies. The successful candidate will be an established engineering technical leader with a proven track record of delivering results in manufacturing and controls engineering.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Provides direction and leadership in the development of industrial controls systems and technical strategies that position the organization to deliver on company goals and objectives
· Act as a change agent to lead change and technical innovation within manufacturing facilities.
· Work with Managers and Directors to optimize plant efficiency and up time.
· Manage large complex controls related projects and function as the controls SME for 4 of our US facilities.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Education/Certifications:
· Work requires extensive knowledge of electricity and process controls systems.
· Work requires experience with the following programming software: Rockwell RSLogix 500/5000, Factory talk. Experience with Ignition and Wondereware is a plus.
· Technical Degree, Military Training or BS Degree in Engineering, or related discipline. Extensive proven experience with the food industry will be considered in lieu of degree
· Valid Driver’s License

Supervisory Responsibilities:
· Work requires supervising and monitoring work performance of self, contractors, vendors and personnel assigned to assist with specific projects including evaluation of program/work objectives and effectiveness, and realigning work and staffing assignments, as needed.
· Work requires partnering with Engineering Managers, Maintenance Managers, and Plant Managers to accomplish the objectives
Working Conditions and Physical Effort:
· Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as dirt, dust, fumes, extreme temperatures, humidity, darkness and/or noise.
· Work environment involves moderate exposure to physical risks, such as working around mechanical, chemical, fire and electrical hazards.
· Must have the ability to lift, carry, pull, push and reach in order to perform various functions. Must be able to communicate with associates as well as others by utilizing professional etiquette.
· Personal protective equipment, as defined by C.H. Guenther and Sons, will be provided.
· Up to 50% travel required at times to support project execution
