Balcan Innovations Inc. is currently seeking an HR Technician in our Laval location. The HR Technician, reporting to the Human Resources Business Partner will support a various activities supporting the HR administration of various programs. The HR Technician will be responsible for:
Responsibilities:
Participate in recruitment process (job postings, review of resumes, telephone screening, interviews) and the on-boarding process for new employees.
Follow-up with new employees on their first days’ work, mid-term evaluation and three months. probations in collaboration with the Leader.
Follow-up with Leaders regarding various forms before their due date (benefits, training, hiring forms, etc.)
Act as a key resource regarding policies, compliance with various regulations or any inquiries regarding payroll, benefits or other HR programs.
Follow-up on work permits.
Draft various letters and various documents.
Perform data extracts from various HR systems and update reports as required.
Support HR teams members in multiple projects / programs / events.
Participate in CNESST inspections, ensure appropriate reports are completed and proper follow-up with employees on leave.
Coordinate with payroll any change of status, new hires, terminations, change of address, etc.
Ensure that postings are posted in a timely manner.

Requirements:
Bilingual (French/English)
1 to 2 years of relevant experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite tools.
