Balanced Wellbeing LLC Hiring for Outpatient Scheduler at Melbourne, FL Full Time

The Outpatient Scheduler will be responsible for daily tasks that include scheduling appointments for medication management providers and therapsits, updating insurance information for each patient, as well as the tracking insurances that providers are on par with. The Outpatient Scheduler works efficiently and effectively to ensure nurse practitioners and therapists are able to see their patients in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Maintains an operating environment that assures effective, efficient, safe operation of the practice and responds to patients and providers’ needs.
• Schedules patient initial appointments and follow-up appointments as per company protocol, patient need and facility requests.
• Verifies patient insurances and ensures insurances are on par with the providers.
• Enter new patients into EMR systems along with uploading required documents.
• Prepares patients charts for provider visit and ensure all documents uploaded to complete visit.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

At least 1-year experience in health care setting.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (minimum 1 yr. exp required)

Preferred Skills

• Current MA License (preferred)
• EMR (minimum 1 yr. exp preferred)
• PCC (pointclickcare)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $15.00 per hour
