Bakerly Barn LLC Hiring for Logistics Coordinator at Easton, Pennsylvania, United States, 18040 Full Time

Scope / Purpose of the Position

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the scheduling, of all shipments in and out of Bakerly Barn. The Logistics Coordinator ensures proper communication of mentioned shipments to appropriate departments and customers.

Major Responsibilities and Essential Functions

• Coordinating with transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments to and from Bakerly Barn’s facility.
• Communicate effectivity with external and internal parties to ensure the pickup and or the delivery schedule is feasible given the availability of product, staff, and equipment.
• Responding to customer inquiries and referring clients to the proper channels
• Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
• Completes pick tickets for orders in the inventory system to ensure efficient and accurate withdraw, while using following FIFO procedures.
• Reviews productions pallet trackers, hold tickets, and all paperwork submitted to the shipping department to ensure accuracy.
• Communicate with Bakerly Supply Chain and Miami Logistics department on issues with orders and or transportation.
• Ensure accuracy of the shipping schedule by correctly recording dates, times, and order numbers from incoming pickup requests
• Correct and follow up with carriers / customers to be sure pickups are on time.
• Tracking and fixing shipping errors
• Preparing Bills of lading and pick tickets for customer orders.
• Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards.
• Complete the shipping process in the ERP for all orders leaving the facility.
• Manages the flow of inventory consistent with FIFO costing.
• Proper weekly communication with Bakerly Supply Chain team on transfer needs given current storage space availability.
• Proper maintenance of inventory management system regarding product locations and receiving of finished products on deliveries
• Responsible for inventory cycle counting, to ensure information in the ERP system is as accurate as possible.
• Direct, manage, and supervise all Material Handlers in the loading and unloading of products to ensure all procedures and policies are followed.
• All other duties as assigned.
• Adhere to Bakerly’s safety procedures and policies.
• Adhere to Bakerly’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

Job Qualification Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in logistics or admin role
• Previous inventory management or ERP system experience required.
• High school diploma / GED required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Good organizational skills
• Competency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point)
• Ability to respond to continually changing priorities.
• Previous forklift experience required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or climb (including stairs / ladders).
• Ability to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
• Physical dexterity necessary to handle supplies, machine parts and tools.
• Vision abilities : close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Backup

The Warehouse Supervisor is the backup for the Logistics Coordinator.
