Part Time or Casual position

A rare opportunity has arisen to join our dedicated Finance team in a fixed term part time or casual position. The fixed term position is initially for a 6 month period, 3 days per week providing leave coverage to the team. Potential exists for the role to be shared and for future employment in a casual capacity upon completion of this contract. Enthusiastic individuals who have solid finance skills and experience are encouraged to apply.

The Position:

The Finance Officer will provide support to various financial areas at BRHS including; Book Keeping, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Aged Care Finance performing specific financial duties as allocated and required at the time. The BRHS Finance department is responsible for the provision of services, advice and support to directors, departmental managers and staff in the areas of financial accounting and reporting, taxation (including FBT as it effects salary packaging) and aged care finance. This position will join a small team of experienced staff and working closely with all roles in the team.

What you need:

• Minimum 12 months experience in a finance role position
• Certificate in Bookkeeping or other relevant qualification an advantage
• Demonstrated knowledge of general accounting procedures and systems.
• Demonstrated experience using computerised financial and information systems.
• Written and verbal communication skills of a high standard including an excellent phone manner.
• Proven ability to perform duties with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Proven reconciliation skills and experience.
