With our business growing we are now seeking a Management Accountant to join our team

The Role

If you enjoy spending your time moving between preparing monthly financial reports and producing profit and loss whilst also working on projects to improve processes, then this may be the role for you! Through your knowledge and experience in finance, you will partner alongside our Lodge Managers and finance team to managing the general ledger including overseeing the monthly balance sheet, banking, and inter-company reconciliations.

• Preparation of GST, FBT, Payroll and assist with Corporate Income Tax returns
• Assisting in the preparation of year end statutory accounts
• You will assist with budget preparation and quarterly reforecasting
• Assist with Accounts Payable and Receivable
• Comprehension of Australian and International accounting standards

What we are looking for

• 2+ years in a Finance or Accounting related role in a small to medium size company, hotel or resort advantageous
• Exposure to Budgeting and Forecasting in small to medium size companies
• Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and autonomously
• Previous use of Microsoft packages (Word, Excel) and a variety of financial accounting programs
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and ability to problem solve
