Job title: Teaching, Learning and Assessment Practitioner

Salary: £40,000 + dependant on experience

Location: Preston. 2-3 days per week onsite with possible travel to other BAE sites. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements. Please speak to your recruiter about this particular role.

What you’ll be doing:

• Responsible for the coordination of Subject Matter Experts at our UK sites, to support the creation of modern, blended and impactful curriculums for Apprenticeships
• Utilises & promotes Digital Learning Technology to enhance and maximise our teaching and learning, delivery and resources consistently across the UK
• Supports UK sites to embrace change through the conception, creation and implementation of innovative delivery and assessment techniques
• Supporting the design and delivery of CPD alongside the Teacher Training & Professional Development Practitioner, where required
• Support the implementation of BAE Systems Approach to the Quality of Education to ensure continued outstanding apprentice and skills delivery

Your skills and experiences:

You will have exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrable team working characteristics, be highly organised and detail conscious. You will be a strategic thinker with outstanding communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

Essential

• Experience in using a VLE (Virtual Learning Environment) with high proficiency (preferably Canvas), with extensive knowledge and use of digital learning and assessment tools
• Driven by effective learning and assessment pedagogy with a sound understanding of the delivery of apprenticeship Standards within an Employer provider organisation
• Working within training and education with a sound knowledge of Ofsted/SDS and other regulatory bodies
• Teaching qualification e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent English & Maths L2 or above

Desirable

• Highly proficient in using a range of software to input, analyse and present data. Passionate about improvement, and its role in delivering high quality apprentice and skills training
• Experience in working and managing multiple stakeholders when implementing change
