Our Maritime Services Business
We support the Royal Navy and our international clients in the design and manufacture of naval ships and submarines, including their state of the art combat systems and equipment.
As part of the Maritime Services team, you’ll play an important part in our supply and production. We design and build a full range of naval ships – from offshore patrol vessels through to giant aircraft carriers. And we provide the Royal Navy with its most advanced and powerful attack submarine fleet. Your expertise will contribute to our customers’ capability to fulfil their extensive naval operations globally. We are the only provider of complex warships and their combat managements to the UK Royal Navy’s surface fleet.

Systems Engineer
Would you like to play a key role in the development of training systems within the Royal Navy? We currently have a vacancy for a Systems Engineer at our site in Portsmouth.
As a Systems Engineer, you will be applying the principals of systems engineering development lifecycle for requirements definition to system integration and customer acceptance into system support and disposal. The systems you will be working on are software intensive systems to support the synthetic training and simulation for the Royal Navy.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to work within a large team creating simulation systems to be used a virtual warship training tool for the Royal Navy. Within this large team there are potential development opportunities, with the ability to progress down either a people management route or within your own chosen specialism.

You will be able to articulate technical information effectively, to stakeholders and peers with varying levels of seniority. An effective member of a technical team, you will be self-motivated and have concise and logical communication skills.
