HR Advisor – ER & Reward
Would you like to play a key role within HR, working with a wide range of stakeholders? We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and pro-active HR Advisor to join the ER & Reward team in Glasgow.
As an HR Advisor you will report to the ER Manager, working alongside a larger HR team. You will provide specialist advice, guidance and support to line Managers and other stakeholders whilst also being engaged in managing a wide range of Employee Relations, Trade Union and Reward activities.
This role will provide you with the chance to give specialist ER advice, guidance and support to a wide variety of stakeholders including line Managers and HR. As part of the wider HR function, you will also have opportunities for career development across the wider BAE business.
Your main responsibilities as a HR Advisor will involve:
Providing coaching, advice and support to Line Managers and HR on ER and Trade Union issues, helping to resolve matters effectively and to ensure consistency and compliance across the business
Establishing effective working relationships with local Trade Union representatives
Working closely with key stakeholder groups to continuously improve line leader capability by challenging, influencing and supporting managers
Input into the review and development of ER policy/procedure
Supporting business wide Reward and Recognition activities, such as Long Service awards, employee incentive scheme and our Company recognition platform.
Deputising for ER and Reward Manager where required
Your skills and qualifications:

What we’re looking for in you:
You will have excellent communication skills allowing you to engage and collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders. You are a good problem solver, with excellent negotiating skills. You will have the confidence to challenge stakeholders where appropriate and be pro-active in your style with the ability to manage and prioritise your own workload.
Location: Glasgow
Salary: £33,000 – £37,000 – depending on experience
