Would you like to drive the delivery of an exciting programme of Education Services across our Air sites and bases in the UK? We currently have a vacancy for an Education Services Lead at our site in Samlesbury.
As an Education Services Lead you will be responsible for developing and strengthening key stakeholder relationships both internally and externally to enable effective delivery against our strategy. Through delivery and management of education programmes within our local communities you have the opportunity to inspire and inform young minds and their key influencers on their future choices. Working with primary and secondary schools as well as charitable organisations, youth groups and youth employment organisations you will develop strong networks utilising the STEM Ambassador network to deploy activities and programmes throughout the year.
Key deliverables include, deployment of Corporate & local business unit Education Services Programmes, in particular Kickstart, T Levels, Movement to Work, Arkwright, World of Work and Work Experience; ensuring they are delivered consistently and in line with the UK delivery model.
In this role you will have the opportunity to inspire and support the direction and choices of young people in relation to their career choices whilst in parallel are equipping our business with the future skills needed.
Your main responsibilities as an Education Services Lead will involve:
Reporting to the Head of Early Careers & Skills (Air), the role will have responsibility for the implementation of Education Services Programmes in the Air.
Being responsible for the deployment of corporate Education Services Programmes in line with the UK delivery model
Leading on the consistency and continuous improvement of Education Services across the Air sector, utilising data and analytics and ensuring innovative service aligns to future business needs
Contributing to the development of shared resources/programme content to support Education Services across the UK
Managing service delivery and content in line with the Early Careers Attraction & Recruitment strategy, ensuring a consistent approach, performance and impact monitoring
Supporting our Air sites and bases across the UK, providing priority support to sites and bases running existing or developing early careers programmes or where Air wish to develop relationships within their local community or base (Warton unit, Brough, AMA, Yeovil, Christchurch, RAF Valley, RAF Conningsby, RAF Marham, Prestwick, RAF Lossiemouth, Filton).
Your skills and qualifications:
Essential
Education or Business Professional qualified to Level 5 or above
Desirable
Proven qualification in education/ learning/ development/ charitable
Experience working within education/ learning or a youth employability setting (e.g. teaching/ careers/ kickstart, Movement to Work, NEET, youth employability)
Training & Development qualifications NVQ Level 4 or equivalent
Level 4 Leadership & Management qualifications

Effective leadership and coaching skills and highly motivated professional with experience of delivering excellence.
Location: Samlesbury
Salary: £40,000+ depending on skills and experience
