Our client is a world leader in machine-generated data whose services are used by more than 90% of the Fortune 100 companies – and we’re looking for dedicated, analytically-minded problem solvers to help keep those customers happy! As a member of the Pre-Check Team, you’ll be working closely with those in technical operations coordinating maintenance windows and assessing customers’ compatibility with upgrades and maintenance.

We’re hiring a class of four to begin training on September 1, 2020.

Here’s the deal:

• Full-time year round position
• Hours of Operation are Sunday to Saturday 10pm to 7am . Must be available to work 75 hours biweekly on rotating shifts with varying start times according to hours of operation
• Previous experience working in a backshift position is an asset

What you’ll do:

• Confirm application compatibility, install locations, stack health, SF/RF, available disk space, number of indexers, etc. for customers needing upgrades or maintenance
• Develop a deep understanding of products related to Cloud Change Management
• Have a technical aptitude to support Application Vetting
• Monitor ticket queues for high priority cases to triage or resolve
• Send interdepartmental updates to status of requests from internal and external customers
• Perform escalations to technical operation s team for guidance on failed pre-checks

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Some level of college, university, or technical school education with a focus on technology, or a combination or work and school experience
• Basic knowledge of UNIX/Linux OSX systems
• Experience working with both Mac and Windows OS
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills with the ability to identify when issues are out of your scope and escalate appropriately
• Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills and able to think outside of the box to find resolutions
• Thrive in a fast paced, technical environment and able to keep up with frequent product releases and maintenance updates
