What we are looking for:
Passionate teachers available to tutor online this school year or tutors who have relevant experience and want to make a difference.

Scope of work

Tutor online, after school hours

1:1 tutoring with the same child each week for 2 hours (1 hour twice a week).

You set your own schedule for after-school and weekend hours. Consistency is key so we ask that the schedule stay the same each week if possible.

Work with students in mostly grades K – 8 for Math & Reading but some high school students will be participating in the program. For high school students, their instruction may be subject-specific (e.g. Algebra I).

What do we require?

Bachelor’s degree or higher

Teaching Certificate or 1+ year of teaching in a classroom or Tutoring 1:1

Minimum of 6 hours a week, up to 25 hours available

Computer or tablet

Access to WIFI

Strong communication skills

Ability to work with students to help them understand the subject material.
