Back to Basics Learning Dynamics is seeking candidates for daytime remote Math teaching for the 2022-2023 school year. This opportunity is perfect for retired teachers looking to still make a difference in the lives of students or for teachers who want to work from home on a full or part-time basis. We don’t just hire and put you on the bench. At Back to Basics Learning Dynamics we hire for specific contracts we have so you aren’t waiting around in hopes of a student.
This is an IMMEDIATE OPENING; we are looking for this candidate to start within two weeks.
Location: Wilmington, DE
Type: Fully remote, teaching 20 – 25 students at a time
Schedule: Daytime hours, with a schedule between 30 and 35 hours weekly
Description/Clientele: High School Students
Job Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years of teaching or tutoring, excluding student teaching, of grade level being requested
Will be teaching 8 -12 grade math that will include Algebras 1 & 2, as well as Geometry. Expertise in one or more of these levels will be expected.
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
Must have experience in and proficiency with written documentation regarding lessons and student progress, as well as assignment grading.
Must have a sincere passion and interest in helping students succeed
Must have reliable access to both internet services and devices featuring a camera & microphone
Teaching certifications are not required, but are preferred.
Knowledge of Common Core Standards in math is required.
